Life’s A B*tch And Then You Die (How To Change Your Destiny In 1 Hour/Day)
Get a physical timer and start today
Life’s a b*tch and then you die.
Or at least… they say.
But I think they say wrong.
And here’s why:
If you can gather enough conscious awareness to wake up inside the video game of life (even ever so slightly), then you can set a timer for 60 minutes (daily) and during that time block…
You can start to change your character’s destiny.
Question is:
How?
I don’t know what will work best for you, but I’d personally implement: “The Rule Of One”
Here’s how it works:
ONE MISSION → ONE PROJECT → ONE THING → ONE HOUR
→ ONE DAY (AT A TIME)
Let’s briefly break each down:
ONE MISSION
With no mission, man becomes a shadow of a shadow of himself.
With a conditioned mission, man acts out the programming of his time and lives a cookie cutter existence.
With a conscious mission, man gathers enough conscious awareness to chart a new course.
So with that stated:
Start your new life by defining your new mission.
What are you aiming to do?
Why are you getting out of bed in the morning?
What’s the reason for your existence?
Make this big and bold.
With your mission in mind, it’s time to move onto the next step.
ONE PROJECT
The day brings empty space and you can fill this space however you please. Most fill it aimlessly. But a man on a mission must fill it consciously, so the next question becomes:
How do you fill the blank space before you with conscious intent?
And the answer is simple:
By asking yourself the following question:
What project, if achieved, would move the needle the most when it comes to fulfilling my mission?
Pick one (the most important one based on your current skill sets, needs, and motivations).
Then move onto the next step:
ONE THING
A project is a series of tasks.
So when you come up with your project, you want to break it down into all the small tasks that need to be completed in order to finish the project. Then you want to rank them in order of importance from number one to number whatever.
After you do:
Look at what you’ve written down beside #1 and this becomes your ONE THING aka the most important lever.
Once you have this, move onto the next step.
ONE HOUR
With your ONE THING in mind:
Open up your laptop, set a timer for ONE HOUR, and work on your ONE THING with complete focus.
When you’re done, move onto the next step.
ONE DAY (AT A TIME)
After you’ve completed your ONE HOUR, you have successfully finished Day 1 of constructing your new life.
Now your job becomes to take it ONE DAY AT A TIME by repeating steps 2-4 so you can finish your project and walk towards actualizing your mission.
Once you finish the project, you take inventory on where you are and then move onto the next most important project.
Stacking at least one brick a day.
–
If you do the above, then you start to change the path your character is walking down.
On Day 1, the change in direction is slight and unperceivable to the naked eye.
But come Day 180, you’ve left enough footprints in fresh sand to kick start your new life.
And by Day 1000, you’re officially living in your new life.
When this happens, you’ve officially completed the mission and changed your character’s destiny.
Life then no longer is a b*tch.
But whatever you make/made it to be.
Thanks for reading.
