A Manual: How To Become The Strongest Version Of Yourself
The enemies: bad programming & unfinished projects
Close your eyes and visualize the strongest version of yourself.
How he looks. How he speaks. How he acts.
Where he lives. What he drives. Who he spends life with.
Achievements, milestones, breakthroughs.
All of it.
Now open your eyes and realize:
The only two things standing in between you and the strongest version of yourself is:
1/ Bad programming
2/ Unfinished projects
Bad programming is anything that makes you act in alignment with a version of yourself that is not the strongest. (When you fall from King to peasant, your programming is to blame. In other words, you’re believing something false that is giving rise to you going through life without your superhero powers)
Unfinished projects include anything you failed to complete that would’ve actualized the strongest version of yourself. (Could be anything from a 12-month workout program to 75 HARD to 100 days of outreach to cold approach 100 strangers to build a marketing VSL funnel to write a book to ship 100 podcasts to learn x skill to build a SAAS to graduate University to find a high quality woman to everything in between)
With that noted, it’s important to realize:
These two have a strong positive correlation.
The higher the bad programming, the higher the # of unfinished projects on your list.
Even worse:
This gives rise to a vicious cycle.
Bad programming leads to unfinished projects which chips away at your confidence and creates more bad programming which leads to more unfinished projects and so on and so forth.
So this begs the question…
What can you do to stop this cycle?
Two things.
You can either take the ‘internal to external’ approach which involves you fixing your programming.
Or you can take the ‘external to internal’ approach which involves you becoming a finisher.
Either action will break this cycle.
When you fix your programming, you start seeing an increase in the number of projects you complete.
When you become a finisher, you start experiencing a change in your psyche and your programming changes from victim to winner.
What’s the right approach for you?
The opposite of what you normally do.
If you normally try to actualize the strongest version of yourself through external changes, choose the internal road instead. It will produce more fruits for you.
If you normally try to actualize the strongest version of yourself through internal changes, choose the external road instead. It will produce more fruits for you.
How does this look in practicality?
1/ The Internal To External Approach – Mission is to increase the # of projects you complete that allow you to actualize the strongest version of yourself. We do this by upgrading our programming from ineffective to effective.
Here’s how: By disidentifying from the child inside you.
If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll realize that your entire life has been characterized with being in the womb or trying to get back in the womb.
This is the case because you’re still unconsciously identified with being a child.
Don’t believe me?
Here’s how a child acts (perfectly normal at this age):
Seeks comfort
Wants mommy’s milk
Expects other people to take care of him & meet his needs
Emotional when things don’t go his way
Wants to play and have fun (not work)
Seeks pleasure, avoids pain
Runs a muck, jumping from one thing to another
Relies on external guidance
Wants to eat cookies all day
Here’s how most adults act (abnormal and limiting behavior):
Lives in comfort: Dull job, dull routine, dull lifestyle
Wants to soothe himself through alcohol and drugs and porn
Looks to others to plug his umbilical cord into
Gets sad, angry, worried when things don’t go his way
Wants to party on Yachts (but not put in the deep work)
Seeks objects of affection (i.e. IG thots), avoids challenges of growth (i.e. 75 HARD)
Afflicted with shiny object syndrome
Relies on external coaches & courses
Wants to engage in bad habits all day
See the parallel?
It doesn’t matter if you’re 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, or 90 – most people are unconsciously filtering the experience of life through the eyes of a small, deficient, incapable child.
This, in return, is what gives rise to the ‘bad’ programming that fucks up your performance because you’re trying to do an adults job (i.e. build a business) through the eyes of a child.
Not likely to work.
So how can you buck this trend?
Most people will tell you it’s as simple as saying: “I’m done being a child and I’m not going to be a child anymore and from now on I’m going to act like an adult” but if you think about it… that’s a very childish approach haha. Nor does it work.
In order to actually disidentify from the child inside you, you have to liberate your consciousness from experiencing life through the eyes of a child to experiencing life through the eyes of an adult.
This separation is required.
How can you do it?
Many different modalities you can use:
Internal Family Systems
Letting Go Practices
Ideal Parent Protocol
Bioenergetics
Whatever.
Pick what resonates, apply yourself, and free yourself.
This will indirectly lead to an increase in performance (#s of projects completed) because you’re now finally doing an adult’s job through the eyes of an adult.
Such is way one.
Let’s now cover way two.
2/ The External To Internal Approach – Mission is to transform our programming from NPC to main character. We do this by building proof of work via setting projects in the real world and rising to the occasion.
Here’s how: By buying a small, pocket size notebook.
And labeling it “Proof”
Then filling out one line at a time with a project you want to complete (could be health, business, social, spiritual related, whatever) and then finishing it and crossing it out.
Once crossed out, writing the next project.
And repeating (again… one project at a time).
By the time you get to page 3, you’ll be brimming with newfound confidence in yourself.
By the time you get through half of the notebook, you’ll be brimming with a newfound identity.
By the time you finish the notebook, you’ll be brimming with a newfound life.
Such is way two. You’re ‘indirectly’ changing your programming through action.
–
When you apply the above approaches, you cannot help, but transform into the strongest version of yourself.
This, in return, gives rise to a very healthy cycle:
Stronger your sense of self, the more projects you complete to move your life forward. The more projects you complete, the more you experience an increase in your sense of self.
Only thing you have to watch out for at this point of the game is:
Overcommitting to too many projects (simultaneously) and breaking your word.
This will stop the healthy cycle.
So once you get momentum working in your favor, pay extra attention to keeping your word (handling business) and not putting too much on your plate (stay diligent).
This will give you the best chance of reaching the top of the world in whatever field you aspire to achieve excellence in.
It’s really as simple as that and 100% within your control.
So if this resonates, give it a go and see how life unfolds for you.
